Tamil Nadu Doctors Association UK & Eire Facebook Group

Welcome to Tamil Nadu Doctors in UK & Ireland

Several Doctors from the state of Tamil Nadu in India came to work and live in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Each Medical College has its own association and it meets either annually or on alternate years. Nonetheless, some senior members of the various Medical colleges agreed that unified alumni should be established by the name, Tamil Nadu Doctors in UK and Ireland.

It is an umbrella organization cross-linking all medical college groups of TN. It was launched on 22nd May 2022. To date, we have around 270 members on the Telegram platform and about 60 members on the WhatsApp platform.

About Us

Consultants, General Practitioners , SAS Doctors, Trainees and their families

There are about 71 Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu (Both Government and Private). If you are a first-time reader and if you are from one of those Medical Colleges in TN and working & living in UK or Ireland, you would qualify to become a member. Please join us by using the Sign-up page. There is a membership fee of £20 a year from October 2022. Life membership is £300.

Chairman visited several towns to meet and encourage TN Doctors to join the group
NRI Development Board in Chennai is aware of TNDA in UK & Eire and it would enable us to seek help in future.
Website hosting was upgraded to be more responsive and hosting server moved to UK. Thanks to Dr Senthil Jayaseelan
